Homeless Man Found With Neck Injury Dies

An Investigation is underway for a homeless man who died as a result of a neck injury in Mission Hills Tuesday. The report came from another transient who told a local fire station in the area that he found the victim unconscious and not breathing. The man reported finding him in that condition on San Fernando Mission Boulevard and Stranwood Ave.

Los Angeles police departments detective Mark O’donnell said that firefighters rendered medical aid to the victim and transported him to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The victim suffered what is believed to be a broken neck.

The man’s identity is not yet known, however they described him as a man in his 40’s. No other details have been provided.
